I grew up in the Netherlands and started my entrepreneurial journey in high school building web-based software. I graduated in Architecture and Building Engineering in Delft, after which I co-founded and led multiple tech/bio companies in consumer and B2B—including TapTalk, AllStripes, and Transcripta Bio. I now live in San Francisco. I love working on translating great ideas into the real world.
In 2015, I was diagnosed with NF2, a rare tumor condition that shifted both my work and my perspective on life. I'm continuing to work on the changes I want to see—especially the ideas that don't just happen automatically, that require an 'inner fire' to bring into being.
